Rotaract Club of Kowloon West
Origin of Rotaract Club of Kowloon West
With the support of Rotary Club of Kowloon West, Rotaract Club of Kowloon West was chartered in Jun 2003 by a group of energetic and experienced Rotaractors.
The charter members had a few years of service in Rotaract Club of City University of Hong Kong, which is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kowloon West, and we all agreed with the motto of Rotaract Club- ˇĄTo Serve, To Learn, To Leadˇ¦. We believed that it was worthwhile to keep on showing our care to our beloved community and attract more youngsters to become Rotaractors after graduation. This became the primary reason of chartering the Rotaract Club of Kowloon West.
During these two years, we have not only been focusing on club level events, but have also actively involved in district level events, such as World Rotaract Week, Asian Pacific Regional Rotaract Conference and Centennial Project.
Every year, our club jointly organize Leadership and Services Project with Rotaract Club of City University of Hong Kong, Interact Club of New Method and Interact Club of CCC Rotary Secondary School, aiming to share our experience with the secondary and university students.
